Steel hilt, GR6 monogram; shark skin grip, brass wire binding; 32½ins blade, etched with “GR6” monogram, Royal coat-of-arms, foliage, “Fear Naught” motto, Tank Corps badge, retailer’s details “The House of Lewis, 32 Bridge St., Bristol”. In brown leather FS scabbard, chape is period repair. Some wear to hilt plating, some staining to blade. Rare sword to the Tank Corps, very few examples known
